Directory not mounted from NFS server

Question

While installing OS on the Virtual machine it asked for the location of the directory. When specified, the following issue is displayed: The directory cannot be mounted from the NFS server.

The iptables might have prevented the NFS mount, so stop the iptable using the command  - service iptable stop
