Incredible Student Project Opportunities at ViSolve
Get a taste of the real world that lets
you put your education to work by involving in exciting technical team projects
with some of the most talented people at ViSolve. This December, we will hire
about 15-20 outstanding interns, who can demonstrate passion and augment their
technical arsenal while working in a fun and resourceful environment at our
Coimbatore Office for 6 months starting January 2010 to June 2010. Exceptional
performers will be rewarded.
ViSolve develops and supports numerous
middleware open source products on Linux and HP-UX specifically in the areas of
Networking, security, database, web applications and mission critical business
intelligence applications for the global market. Some of the current projects
are:
- Web Caching Proxy (Squid) Development, Deployment and 7x24 Support
- Projects that help to eliminate License Costs for Customers through deployment of OpenSource Solutions (Example:
Terminal Server, Desktop Applications)
- Next Generation Data Center Consolidation and Optimization
- EMR/EHR Product Development with Open Source Components
- Business Intelligence Applications for Executive Decision Making
- Open Source Code Auditing against Proprietary Source Code Violation - OSC (Open Source console) Product development including Performance Tuning and QA
To be
considered for internship at ViSolve, you must meet the following requirements:

Actively pursuing Masters Degree such as MCA/MSc Computer Science (or
related field) and currently stepping into final semester, looking out for
challenging Technical Projects.

Good and consistent academic track
with atleast 75% throughout X, XII, UG and PG.

Sound conceptual or practical
knowledge in any of the following: Networking, Security, Data Structures,
Linux/Unix and shell scripting, Apache, PHP, MySQL, BI applications &
reporting etc. Knowledge in the HealthCare Domain, Open Source Technologies
will also be a plus.
